Town turn down Dobra bid
According to TWTD, Town have turned down an approach from Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion for Armando Dobra.
The Seagulls are understood to be admirers of Dobra, placing a bid late in the January transfer window which was rejected by Town. The figure on offer was well below Town’s valuation of the Albanian U19 international.
Dobra, who has made six appearances for Town this season, is contracted to the Blues until the end of this season with the club having an option for a further season.
The window is set to close in a matter of hours (23:00) and Town fans should be relatively happy with the dealings, or perhaps lack of, at Portman Road.
We have managed to keep hold of sought after youngsters Flynn Downes and Luke Woolfenden, two key players for the promotion push back to the Championship. Josh Earl has been recruited as an additional central defender after Toto Nsiala joined Bolton Wanderers.
Young players Idris El Mizouni and Ben Folami have moved temporarily to League Two sides Cambridge and Stevenage respectively. Jordan Roberts has joined fellow League One sided Gillingham, while Aaron Drinan headlines a host of younger Blues’ who have headed out on loan.
