Town lining up Millwall forward Elliott as Bialkowski’s move is back ON
According to TWTD, Town are lining up a move for Millwall striker Tom Elliott. It is also reported that discussions are ongoing between the clubs which could see keeper Bartosz Bialkowski’s move to Millwall back on.
Elliott, 28, has scored nine goals – including the third in his side’s 3-2 defeat of the Blues at Portman Road on New Year’s Day – in 32 starts and 34 games from the bench for the Lions.
Last month a fee was agreed between the two clubs for keeper Bartosz Bialkowski however the Championship side pulled out of the deal due to a complication in Bart’s medical.
Harris, speaking on the deal: “We agreed a substantial fee with Ipswich for Bart,
“Bart was in my office – paperwork was signed and agreed, terms were agreed with the player. He is fantastic character, a real nice lad.
“Everything was okay with Ipswich and there was a complication with the medical, which has led to complications with the deal. As we stand at the moment, the deal is off.”
The South Londoners tried to renegotiate the deal before Town ultimately pulled the plug. However, TWTD understands discussions are continuing which would see the move revived.
