Town agree fee with Millwall for Bialkowski
According to Football Insider, Ipswich Town have agreed a fee with Millwall for the permanent departure of goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski.
The Poland international goalkeeper joined the Londoners on a season-long loan last summer, just weeks after a permanent move broke down after a failed medical.
Bialkowski has featured in all 28 of Millwall’s Championship fixtures, conceding just 32 goals and keeping seven clean sheets.
Although not signed by current manager Gary Rowett, the former Birmingham and Stoke boss has made it clear that he is a big fan of Bialkowski.
The fee is understood to be close to the £900,000 which was previously agreed in the summer. Personal terms between the two parties are said to be all but completed, with Bialkowski set to sign an 18-month deal at Millwall.
Bialkowski joined Ipswich on a free transfer from Notts County in the summer of 2014 and has made 177 starts and one sub appearance for Town over five and a half years.
