Reports: Bolton eye Nsiala

According to TWTD, Bolton Wanderers are interested in signing Town defender Toto Nsiala on a permanent deal.

Reports broke earlier on in the week from one of the many fake Twitter accounts regarding a potential move, but it appears the move could be in the pipeline.

Nsiala, who joined Town alongside former Shrewsbury player Jon Nolan in 2018, has made 28 starts and five sub appearances for the Blues, scoring once.

The central defender is contracted with Town until the summer of 2021, with the club having the option for an additional year. Nsiala, since the weekend defeat at Exeter City, as removed all content of Ipswich Town from his personal Instagram account.

If Nsiala moves on to Bolton, that will leave Town with only three central defenders, Luke Woolfenden, Luke Chambers and James Wilson. Although Cole Skuse could deputise are the back, Paul Lambert will almost certainly look to bolster his defensive options. Tommy Smith anyone?
