Lambert at ‘Meet the Club’ event tomorrow night

Paul Lambert will take questions from fans at the annual Meet the Club event at Portman Road on Thursday, 31 October.

The Town boss will be joined by Lee O’Neill, general manager football operations, at the event run by the Supporters’ Club, which will also see off-field staff in attendance.

The evening, held in Beattie’s starts at 6.30pm with the Supporters’ Club AGM, with Lambert and O’Neill then facing questions from the audience from 7.15pm.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions across all areas of the Club later in the evening.

Proof of Supporters’ Club membership (season ticket, silver membership or Supporters’ Club branch membership) will need to be provided at the door on arrival.

Meanwhile, Town are launching a new matchday programme scheme which will see unsold programmes donated to local primary schools and care homes.

Often on matchdays there are a vast number of programmes leftover from general sales, hospitality and press areas and are not put to use.

Town’s public relations manager, Dan Palfrey told the Club website the reasons behind the idea: “We hope with this new scheme we can further our engagement with the younger generation, whilst also not neglecting the older generation who might not be able to attend games anymore.”

If you’re a local primary school or care home who would like to apply for this scheme, please email dan.palfrey@itfc.co.uk.
