Judge unused sub as Ireland draw

Blues midfielder Alan Judge was an unused sub as Republic of Ireland drew 0-0 at Georgia in Tbilisi in a Group D Euro 2020 qualifier.

Judge could add to his eight caps on Tuesday when Mick McCarthy’s men are in action again on Tuesday when they face Switzerland in Geneva in another qualifier.

Meanwhile, Town keeper Adam Przybek won his first Wales U21s cap as a late addition to the team but couldn’t prevent his side from losing 3-1 to Moldova in a European Championships qualifier in Orhei yesterday afternoon.

Przybek had been set to sit on the bench until first-choice George Ratcliffe, currently on loan with Barry Town from Cardiff City, suffered a knock in the warm-up.
