Town striker Freddie Sears has signed a new two-year deal with the Club.

The 29-year-old put pen to paper at Portman Road earlier today, and has committed to Blues until the summer of 2021.

The Club has the option to extend the deal a further 12 months.

Sears first signed for Town in January 2015, and has gone on to score 30 goals in 166 league appearances during his time in Suffolk.

The former Colchester forward is currently sidelined with a cruciate ligament injury, suffered in February earlier this year, but is expected to return to action in November.
