According to TWTD, Town have offered new terms to midfielder Andre Dozzell.

Dozzell’s contract is up in the summer of 2020 but Town are understood to have the usual additional year’s option on his deal.

However Paul Lambert is set to offer to put a significantly better deal on the table to secure the 20-year-old ahead of interested Premier League clubs Norwich, Brighton and Crystal Palace.

It’s understood talks have been held between the two East Anglian rivals, with no official bid made at this stage.

The England youth international, capped to Under 20 level, has made 33 Ipswich appearances, scoring twice.

Elsewhere, according to Teamtalk, Town are one of a number of clubs claimed to be showing interest in free agent former Ross McCormack.

Although the former Aston Villa man is on a free transfer, his wages would be a huge stumbling block in any potential deal.
