Brown signs first professional contract

Town striker Zak Brown has signed his first professional contract with the Club.

The 17-year-old put pen to paper on a two-year deal at Portman Road, keeping him with Blues until the summer of 2021, with the club having the option to extend the deal a further 12 months.

Brown, younger brother of former Town scholar and now Chelsea player Charlie, joined Town as an U13 and featured regularly for the U18s last season while also breaking into the U23s.

Brown is just one of a number of Town youngsters to sign a new deal with with Kai Brown, Corrie Ndaba, Brett McGavin, Armando Dobra and Idris El Mizouni among those to have signed deals.
