Bialkowski’s loan move to Millwall confirmed

Bartosz Bialkowski has completed a season-long loan move to Millwall.

The Blues ‘keeper put pen to paper on a deal that will see him turn out for the South-East London side until the end of the 2019/20 campaign.

Bart, who travelled to Russia with Poland for the World Cup finals last summer, has made 177 starts and one substitute appearance since signing for Town in 2014.

Last month a fee was agreed between the two clubs for keeper Bartosz Bialkowski however the Championship side pulled out of the deal due to a complication in Bart’s medical.

Harris, speaking on the deal: “We agreed a substantial fee with Ipswich for Bart,

“Bart was in my office – paperwork was signed and agreed, terms were agreed with the player. He is fantastic character, a real nice lad.

“Everything was okay with Ipswich and there was a complication with the medical, which has led to complications with the deal. As we stand at the moment, the deal is off.”

The South Londoners tried to renegotiate the deal before Town ultimately pulled the plug.

Lambert has been quick in getting in a replacement keeper with Will Norris is set to complete his move to Town after passing a medical yesterday.

The 25-year-old, formerly of Cambridge United, is highly rated at Wolves and is set to complete a season long loan to join Town.
